Posted on October 29, 2020November 3, 2020 by Becky Thompson

“Fast & Furious” series star said that his late friend encouraged him not to give up his musical dream.

On October 30, Vin Diesel released a new music product called Days Are Gone – a song with a tropical house sound. This is the next song of the Fast & Furious star after his debut single, Feel Like I Do, was released on September 27.

“Some things in 2020 make me choose the tropical house line. I think it’s a pretty good genre. With Feel Like I Do, the core of the song is a positive message. And Days Are Gone is a song where everyone is. people can feel it in their own way. The song reminds of a more comfortable life than what is happening today”, Vin Diesel told People.

Sharing more about his passion for music, the 53-year-old actor said: “I acted in musicals since I was a child and started to seek rapping since the 1980s. However, serious singing is only starting to arise. When I was singing Stay, I remember Mikky (Mikky Ekko – musician, producer) praised it as a very good cover. I found it to be my encouragement”.

According to Vin Diesel, the late star Paul Walker was the one who encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. “When I was in London, I told Pablo (nicknamed by Vin Diesel) that people were anxious to find out that I intended to try music. He said, ‘Never stop singing'”, The actor reminisces about his close colleague.

In response to Walker’s encouragement, Vin Diesel continued to maintain his dream of pursuing music despite being discouraged by audiences and colleagues in Hollywood. In gratitude to his deceased friend, Vin Diesel sang the song See You Again in the Paul Walker memorial service at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards.

Previously, according to Variety magazine, Vin Diesel had the opportunity to pursue his dream of music, releasing his first single thanks to Covid-19 epidemic.

Due to the effects of the epidemic, the filming of the sequel to Fast & Furious was delayed. Instead of wandering on set, Vin Diesel has time to rest with his family and record his favorite songs. The 1967-born actor expressed that his debut single was another way for the audience to feel his heart.
