Spice Girls have announced that they decided to extend their 2019 UK stadium tour with 4 more shows in their schedule.
On November 5, this girl band revealed their return on Twitter with a video in which Geri Horner, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Mel C delivering a mock news bulletin. However, Victoria Beckham was confirmed not to join the group on this tour.
After official announcement, tickets for this concerts have been on sale from November 10. However, many fans were disappointed when trying to get a ticket in hand due to site crashes, error messages, and online long queues.
In response to the “phenomenal” demand from fans, the organizer decided to add 4 shows to the sint – with two extra dates scheduled in Manchester and London.
On Twitter, Mel C said that she was really “overwhelmed with the response” from fans. It was over their expectation.
The first comeback interview of Spice Girls was on air on ITV’s Jonathan Ross Show on November 10th. During the recording on last Wednesday, this group revealed that they didn’t actually ask Victoria Beckham to join them in this show.
The Spice Girls were an English pop girl group formed in 1994 with 5 members: Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham. This iconic girl power group initially spitted in 2000 after Geri Halliwell left the group. They had a 2 comeback tours in 2007 and 2008, and then, reunited for a final performance at the Olympics Closing Ceremony in 2012.
And this February, this 5 members raised a reunion plans into consideration, and said that it’s the time to explore some incredible new opportunities together. Since 2012, this was the very first time that they met up to discuss about the comeback plans. It is believed that they had talked about working on a lot of upcoming projects, including TV shows, endorsements, and a greatest hits compilation.
